Our provider is a board-certified Psychiatric
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with an
extensive experience in the assessment,
diagnosis, and treatment of children and adults
with a wide range of mental health conditions!
With a strong foundation in critical care nursing
and advanced clinical training in psychiatry. Her
aim is to provide compassionate evidence-based
care that aligns with you!


Her goal is help you overcome mental health
challenges by working together to create a
individualized treatment plan that addresses
your unique needs!

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

During an initial psychiatric
evaluation, we will gather
detailed information your mental
health status, history, and overall
functioning. The purpose is to
diagnose mental health
conditions, identify any
underlying issues, and develop
an individualized treatment plan.

This will allow us to set the
foundation for developing a
personalized approach to care,
to ensure that treatment is
appropriate for your specific
needs.

Medication Management

30 min

Medication management will
consist of regular follow-up
appointments to monitor and
adjust medications prescribed.
This will allow us to assess the
medication’s effectiveness,
check for side effects, and
address any concerns.

The goal is to manage symptoms,
improve quality of life, and
ensure medications are both
effective and safe for you!


Brief Psychotherapy

Varies

Psychotherapy is used in conjunction with medication management and is tailored to your specific needs and concerns. Approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Supportive Therapy, or Motivational Interviewing (MI) will be implemented. Applying these tools will aid in managing current issues and improving coping skills.

The cost of services offer will vary based upon the type of
service and will be addressed prior to or during your initial
psychiatric evaluation. Please contact us to inquire about self-

Are appointments in person or tele-health?

Appointments are primarily via tele-health, however, in-person appointments are available upon request in Charlotte,
NC.


Do you accept insurance plans?

Yes! Lotus Mental Health accepts various insurance plans.


Please note:

We are currently partnered with Headway - a trust third-party billing company - to simplify your billing process. Headway will directly correspond with you regarding any billing or insurance related matter. Headway will aid with insurance verification, claims and payment details.

What are you self pay rates?

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $250

Follow Ups / Medication Management: $150


Self pay option is available for those who are uninsured or prefer to pay out of pocket. For those who are using out-
of-network benefits, we can provide a super bill following your appointment. You can submit the super bill, receipts,
and any documentation to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please contact your insurance company prior to scheduling an appointment to see if you are eligible for
reimbursement.



What is your cancellation policy?

We require you to cancel your appointment prior to 48 hours of your scheduled appointment.

Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged $100.
